We recommend pastels, white, ivory, or gold for your outfit. ​ Afternoon spots (beginning at 12:45pm) will feature our dramatic, black sweep. Event Photography ​ What sets Artifex Imaging apart? ​ Fully edited images in full resolution We edit all the images provided to you so that they are of the absolute best quality. These are made available for download in full resolution. Third party printing rights Purchasing prints through us is optional - not required. The release you sign prior to your session has a section that gives you written permission to print your photos through a third party. Prints can be purchased directly through your proofing site if you choose to purchase directly with us. ​ Packages Packages can be tailored to your event needs. Travel fees for shoot locations outside of Bakersfield are $2/mile roundtrip from our location to the shoot location. ​ ​ Event Candids $100 Up to 2 hours Standard editing +$100 per additional hour Photo Booth $500 Up to 2 hours Standard editing +$100 per additional hour Details​ Event Candids We will capture images of your event attendees, decoration details, and scenery. We will pause halfway through the event to allow for a small break for events longer than 2 hours and a meal break for events longer than 5 hours. We encourage you to provide us with your event's itinerary so that we can plan accordingly. We bring a 2x4 foot table to display our information so your guests will know how to access the photos. A digital event album will be posted online so that everyone can download their favorite photos, opt to purchase prints, etc. What we need for your event: Access to restrooms. A 2ft x 4ft space for the information table. ​ Photo Booth We will capture images of your event attendees in our photo booth. We will pause the photo booth halfway through the event to allow for a small break. We will attempt to capture general event photos any time your guests are not in our booth. We bring a 10x10 foot canopy and a 2x4 foot table to display our information so your guests will know how to access the photos. We can also provide general photo booth props if desired in which case we may bring additional tables or carts to accomodate and display the props. ​ A digital event album will be posted online so that everyone can download their favorite photos, opt to purchase prints, etc. ​ What we need for your event: Access to restrooms. A 10ft x 15ft space for the photo booth canopy, information table, and any additional tables. ​

These items will be kept as props, used as goodie baskets, donated or gifted, etc. as determined by Artifex Imaging. There is no limit to the number or value of items that can be traded. ​ ​What you will receive in exchange for your item(s) All items traded will be photographed. The purchase price of the item(s) traded will determine the number and type of images provided by Artifex Imaging. The photos will be provided to you with the Artifex Imaging watermark, added to the Artifex Imaging website, and linked directly to your product page. My TFP (trade for print) arrangements usually involve donating the item(s) in exchange for my services but I will forgo this component to support the cause. ​ Email me your business name and a link to the product page(s) for each item so I can keep track of which items belong to which businesses. Please email images of your items if you do not have product pages available online and a link to whatever online presence you have (Facebook, IG, etc.). I will photograph items in the order they are received and send your product image(s) in this same email. ​ What you will receive in exchange I will provide (1) studio image per item with a (5) item limit per business. The photos will be provided to you with the Artifex Imaging watermark, added to the Artifex Imaging website, and linked directly to your product page. Studio Rentals You can now rent the Artifex Imaging work spaces for your photography or modeling projects! ​ What sets Artifex Imaging apart? ​ Clean spaces to work The rented areas and bathrooms are cleaned to provide photo-ready rooms and a comfortable, professional environment to conduct business. We also setup chairs and tables for you and your guest for personal items, props, and equipment. Shoot assistance and lighting equipment provided On-site shoot assistance and use of lighting equipment, which can be any color, are provided. Equipment will be handled by Artifex Imaging staff. We recommend starting with a backdrop if you intend to use a backdrop and our grey wall to make the most of your allotted time. ​ Props $40 We will setup an additional table with props, fabrics, and other accessories that may suit your theme based on the information you provide to us. ​ ​ Details ​ We highly recommend arriving as scheduled and having your model or client arrive 20 minutes later us to allow yourself time to make any adjustments, setup your props, etc. Rental time begins as scheduled and will only be extended if additional time is purchased. Children are only permitted to attend rental sessions if they are the subject of the session. ​ Garage Studio Portraits | Products The Garage Studio shooting area is two-car space with an 86" grey wall. The setup fee includes clearing the space for your shoot and setting up lighting equipment, chairs, and tables in advance of your arrival. The hourly rate covers my time and assistant during your allotted time. Additional time spent setting up backdrops, floor drops, our projector, etc. must be purchased separately. ​ Master Suite Boudoir Portraits | Bathtub Portraits The Master Suite is a spacious room featuring a Cal King bed and generous tub. This combo makes this space perfect for boudoir and bathtub photography sessions. The setup fee includes clearing the space for your shoot and setting up lighting equipment, chairs, and tables in advance of your arrival. The hourly rate covers my time and assistant during your allotted time. ​

You may also request detailed editing to remove imperfections such as lint, stray hairs, or acne. A link to the final edits will be emailed to you once your images are ready for download. Headshot groups larger than two people must book our Outdoor or Studio session package. ​ Ideal for: Professional profiles, company websites, resumes, etc. ​ ​Standard Sessions 1-4 hours @ any Bakersfield location Standard sessions can be taken indoors at the Artifex Imaging home studio or outdoors at any Bakersfield location. A link to the final edits will be emailed to you once your images are ready for download. ​ Ideal for: Individuals, Couples, Children, Infants, and Families Notes: Pets must be photographed in a public, outdoor location. ​ ​ Bedroom and Bathtub Sessions 1 -3 hours @ the Artifex Imaging home studio See Boudoir Prep for additional information. ​ These sessions are perfect for maternity or boudoir portraits. Both scenes offered take place in our home studio. The bedroom scene takes place in the garage studio area of our home outfitted to look like a bedroom. The bathtub scene takes place in the master suite bathtub of our home. A link to the final edits will be emailed to you once your images are ready for download. ​ Ideal for: Bridal, Maternity, Modeling Notes: Boudoir portraits have an air of intimacy and most clients prefer to keep their photos private. All boudoir photos will be kept private by default to allow you the freedom to express yourself and encourage those who may hesitate to explore this type of session otherwise. You will be provided with an optional release for commercial use that you may choose to sign or disregard. You will receive credit towards a future session in exchange for your signed release. ​
