What sets Artifex Imaging apart?

Session prices can be customized according to budget

The packages below include a specific number of images from your shoot fully edited. We can easily tailor these packages to your budget by reducing the number of images provided to you after the shoot. You can also purchase additional images if desired.

Video consultations available

We schedule a video call after booking to discuss your photo goals together. We love the art of photography and are happy to assist. Video calls can be scheduled from 6pm to 8pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 8pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Fully edited images in full resolution

We edit all the images provided to you so that they are of the absolute best quality. These are made available for download in full resolution.

Third party printing rights

Purchasing prints through us is optional - not required. The release you sign prior to your session has a section that gives you written permission to print your photos through a third party. Prints can be purchased directly through your proofing site if you choose to purchase directly with us.

Headshots

Headshot Sessions

15 Minutes @ the Artifex Imaging home studio

Headshot sessions are designed to be simple for a professional look. These portraits will be taken indoors at the Artifex Imaging home studio in front of a light grey wall. You may upgrade to add a second person to your session time; who will be receive their own set of standard edits. You may also request detailed editing to remove imperfections such as lint, stray hairs, or acne. A link to the final edits will be emailed to you once your images are ready for download.

Headshot groups larger than two people must book our Outdoor or Studio session package.

Ideal for: Professional profiles, company websites, resumes, etc.

Standard Sessions

1-4 hours @ any Bakersfield location

Standard sessions can be taken indoors at the Artifex Imaging home studio or outdoors at any Bakersfield location. A link to the final edits will be emailed to you once your images are ready for download.

Ideal for: Individuals, Couples, Children, Infants, and Families

Notes: Pets must be photographed in a public, outdoor location.

Bedroom and Bathtub Sessions

1-3 hours @ the Artifex Imaging home studio

These sessions are perfect for maternity or boudoir portraits. Both scenes offered take place in our home studio. The bedroom scene takes place in the garage studio area of our home outfitted to look like a bedroom. The bathtub scene takes place in the master suite bathtub of our home. A link to the final edits will be emailed to you once your images are ready for download.

Ideal for: Bridal, Maternity, Modeling

Notes: Boudoir portraits have an air of intimacy and most clients prefer to keep their photos private. All boudoir photos will be kept private by default to allow you the freedom to express yourself and encourage those who may hesitate to explore this type of session otherwise. You will be provided with an optional release for commercial use that you may choose to sign or disregard. You will receive credit towards a future session in exchange for your signed release.
