TFP Product Photography

I’ve decided to offer free product photography for artists and small businesses in exchange for the items to be photographed. These items will be kept as props, used as goodie baskets, donated or gifted, etc. as determined by Artifex Imaging. There is no limit to the number or value of items that can be traded.

​What you will receive in exchange for your item(s)

All items traded will be photographed. The purchase price of the item(s) traded will determine the number and type of images provided by Artifex Imaging. The photos will be provided to you with the Artifex Imaging watermark, added to the Artifex Imaging website, and linked directly to your product page. I will leave a review for each item traded on any site(s) you designate. ​I will also add your product to the Spotlight tab of my website and write a featured post about your company if you use any one of my photos as the first image for your product(s).

• (1) studio image per item for items up to $25 purchase price

• (2) studio images or (1) scenic image per item for items up to $50 purchase price

• (2) studio images and (2) scenic images per item for items up to $100 purchase price.

• (1) studio image, (1) scenic image, and (1) lifestyle image per item for items greater than $100 purchase price. Shoots for lifestyle images will be scheduled once a COVID-19 vaccine has been implemented.

Drop-off / Freight Options

• Local businesses: Safe, no-contact porch drop off is available to you at any time. Text me at 661-369-6539 to let me know that you’ve dropped an item off so we can bring it inside. 

• Non-Local businesses: I ask that you cover the expense of the shipping. The photography services will still be at no cost and I will provide (1) bonus image as a thank you for covering freight.

BLM Product Photography

I’ve decided to offer free product photography for Black-owned businesses for as long as I can manage. My TFP (trade for print) arrangements usually involve donating the item(s) in exchange for my services but I will forgo this component to support the cause.

Email me your business name and a link to the product page(s) for each item so I can keep track of which items belong to which businesses. Please email images of your items if you do not have product pages available online and a link to whatever online presence you have (Facebook, IG, etc.). I will photograph items in the order they are received and send your product image(s) in this same email.

What you will receive in exchange

I will provide (1) studio image per item with a (5) item limit per business. The photos will be provided to you with the Artifex Imaging watermark, added to the Artifex Imaging website, and linked directly to your product page. I will leave a review for each item on any site(s) you designate. ​I will write a featured post about your company to help promote your business and Artifex Imaging's BLM product photography arrangement. I will also add your business to the Spotlight tab of my website ​if you use any one of my photos as the first image for your product.

Drop-off / Freight Options

• Local businesses: Safe, no-contact porch drop off is available to you at any time. Text me at 661-369-6539 to let me know that you’ve dropped an item off so we can bring it inside. You are free to come by any time to pick up your item(s) once you receive your email with your product image(s). Let me know when you plan to come by so I can put your item(s) on the porch for you to retrieve.

• Non-Local businesses: I ask that you cover all freight expenses, provide return label, and use USPS or UPS since they offer free at-home pickup while FedEx charges extra. This will allow for free, safe, no-contact pickup. The photography services will still be at no cost and I will provide (2) bonus images as a thank you for covering freight both ways.
